Slater’s Bridge, Cathedral Cavern and Lingmoor

From Elterwater our route takes us to Little Langdale Tarn and then crosses the picturesque Slater’s Bridge. A short walk from there is the very impressive underground abandoned Cathedral Quarry. We then follow the Little Langdale path to Blea Tarn, which on a clear day gives excellent views of the Langdale Pikes. The route then ascends Side Pike and follows the undulating ridge of Lingmoor.
