Loughrigg, Grasmere, and the old Coffin RoadA favourite walk of the Wordsworths with excellent views of Windermere, Loughrigg in the centre of the Lake District is a deservedly popular walk. Easier walking along the shores of Grasmere then the ancient 'Coffin Road' passing Rydal Mount and Rydal Hall will return us to our starting point on the banks of the river Rothay. |
