Starting from the secluded Borrowdale Valley, we pass spectacular scenery on this demanding circular walk to the summit of Scafell Pike, the highest peak in England. Wainwright described a walk up Scafell Pike as: 'This is a classic expedition, and I consider it to be the finest fell in the Lake District'.
